The plant on the left is where the baby birds now reside.  The hanging strands of market lights are where the mommy and daddy birds perch to yell at Chapter.  And the beautiful new Indonesian hardwood table where I once had dinner parties?  Out of commission, as it’s currently covered in bird poop, and is not a safe place to eat–the parent birds swoop in on you in protection of their babies!

Soon I will reclaim my porch.
