I finally heard the pre-TEA party podcast! It was surreal hearing myself on the internet!! I'm not a techie so ....wow! My daughter and I are putting together some things for my website she's doing for me!! It will be political info. to help 'regular joes' feel a little better about voicing their concerns to D.C. and OKC. I've given my shout out to Pelosi, Schumer, Reid and Boren oh yeah let's not forget Burrage. I only recieved response from Boren. I guess I had cooled off a little by the time I wrote him! Anyway, the rebel is still rousing and while I have breath left I'll probably keep on rousing the rest of the rebels! Thanks for your time that you took to plug the TEA party there will be more demos to come. Will let you know. Denise Clinton (no relation);)

Oh man! I was actually on my way home from Joplin last night and up when you sent the DM on Twitter but my tweets stop at 10 and I didn't get it until this morning! I am devastated! You have my cell number - next time call or text me directly! I'm crushed but yet still hopeful! Paul doesn't understand why I'm so excited, though, lol.

And as far as the cast itself...you never disappoint. For the first one back you nailed it! The reminiscing about Paul Harvey, Mezeppa Pompazoidi, the Miami drive-in (which is now where a Walmart supercenter sits) (and also where I saw Rocky) was just wonderful! Good job!

Diva,

What I am impressed with is that (as a Baptist) we have always had denominational leaders who recognized the need for "youth" things. From the first two gentlemen who decided that we needed Falls Creek to our current Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma leaders, there is a sense that we need a place and an emphasis for kids that speaks to them as kids. After all, isn't it a childlike faith?

It literally makes my little heart pitter patter when you say my name on air! Keep doing it!

I loved the part talking about church camp. We've been home from Youth Camp for a week and a half now and let me tell you, I haven't come down from the ceiling yet! But it's funny...this year I realized more than ever that ministry to youth is CHANGING! Kids aren't content with clapping and shouting in the tabernacle anymore - we had a Southern Baptist MOSH PIT! And while I just continually worried about injuries (Mom occupational hazard) those kids were worshipping God the way they knew how. I was amazed. And I'm sure that more than one of the founding fathers of the association turned over in his grave! LOL

Y'all, as usual, the WynnCast kept me grinning throughout and I can't wait till the next one!

As always, I grinned the entire time I listened!

By the way, just for general information's sake.....I LOVE oatmeal cookies. Ya know, just FYI. In case you were interested in sending a package northeast or anything.

Also, if you're still in need of a guest, I don't work on Fridays now..... another little FYI. :-)

Nope, I use a conglomeration of things. I actually have a pretty advanced podcast setup. I have a Tapco (by Mackie) mixer, into which I have inputs from some broadcast quality mics, my PC, my TIVO, and a professional phone hybrid (Telos One). I record the output of the board on a PC using Audacity. I then edit in the old Cool Edit Pro, convert to mono mp3 using dB Power Amp, edit the ID Tags, then post on my server. Then I make a post on the WynnCast Blog, and it plays on the site via the PodPress plugin for WordPress. WordPress creates an RSS feed, which Feedburner uses to make its Feedburner feed. Dang, it sounds more complicated than it is. I do use a program called CastBlaster to play music and sound FX while we do the show. It's an interface designed to create a whole podcast, but I just use it to pre-load all my audio where it's all ready at the push of a button.
