Diva,

What I am impressed with is that (as a Baptist) we have always had denominational leaders who recognized the need for "youth" things. From the first two gentlemen who decided that we needed Falls Creek to our current Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma leaders, there is a sense that we need a place and an emphasis for kids that speaks to them as kids. After all, isn't it a childlike faith?

It literally makes my little heart pitter patter when you say my name on air! Keep doing it!

I loved the part talking about church camp. We've been home from Youth Camp for a week and a half now and let me tell you, I haven't come down from the ceiling yet! But it's funny...this year I realized more than ever that ministry to youth is CHANGING! Kids aren't content with clapping and shouting in the tabernacle anymore - we had a Southern Baptist MOSH PIT! And while I just continually worried about injuries (Mom occupational hazard) those kids were worshipping God the way they knew how. I was amazed. And I'm sure that more than one of the founding fathers of the association turned over in his grave! LOL

Y'all, as usual, the WynnCast kept me grinning throughout and I can't wait till the next one!
