WynnCast #40: Start the insanity

wynncastipod.jpg

We’ve now done 40 of these bad boys! In today’s edition of the WynnCast, Tyson & Jeane talk about:

  • living in Del Becca Bippo Del Besta Becko Del Boca Vista
  • shopping at Lowe’s
  • update on Only Cat
  • the family wants photos
  • Valentine’s is coming
  • taking care of Tyson
  • update on the Joe Wiley situation, including the newest lawsuit against him

Also, due to the new built-in player, we are now only producing the WynnCast in the higher quality format.

Happy listening!

As always, guys, great stuff.I usually play the podcasts from my office and my husband will holler out “Woman, whut’s so funny now?” because I’m chuckling and giggling through the whole thing. You two are just too adorable together!

I’ve had this cast playing while I’m helping my flu-ridden Kindergartener with her homework and it’s made the task way more enjoyable because let me tell ya, she’s on steroids and therefore is posessed by demons or something and coaxing her into doing homework today was pretty much like shaving a cat - unpleasant and rather dangerous.

Curious if you use this to record your podcasts:

Nope, I use a conglomeration of things. I actually have a pretty advanced podcast setup. I have a Tapco (by Mackie) mixer, into which I have inputs from some broadcast quality mics, my PC, my TIVO, and a professional phone hybrid (Telos One). I record the output of the board on a PC using Audacity. I then edit in the old Cool Edit Pro, convert to mono mp3 using dB Power Amp, edit the ID Tags, then post on my server. Then I make a post on the WynnCast Blog, and it plays on the site via the PodPress plugin for WordPress. WordPress creates an RSS feed, which Feedburner uses to make its Feedburner feed. Dang, it sounds more complicated than it is. I do use a program called CastBlaster to play music and sound FX while we do the show. It’s an interface designed to create a whole podcast, but I just use it to pre-load all my audio where it’s all ready at the push of a button.
