Hershey’s Finally Shakes that Pesky Milk Chocolate
1September 19, 2008 by Tyson Wynn
Due to the rising cost of, well, everything, Hershey’s has replaced the cocoa butter in many products with vegetable oil. They can no longer call their fare milk chocolate; rather, it is labeled as “chocolate candy,” though some prefer to call it “mockolate.”
I can’t imagine it bodes well for a company that specializes in milk chocolate to remove the milk chocolate from their products. Doesn’t bother me much, though, as I haven’t touched a Hershey’s since I discovered Dove.
In other news, Long John Silver’s is offering a new fish-free fish filet, the Southern Baptist Convention has removed references to Jesus from the new Baptist Hymnal, and I hear that the Olympic games have finally done away with those silly sporting events.

This can’t bode well. Me sainted Irish mother will be terribly upset.
I already suspected the Apocalypse was just around the corner. Now I am sure of it.
