Well, Merle’s Lost It

If you haven’t heard, Merle Haggard has come out for Hillary. Apparently you can take the boy out of Oklahoma and the Okie out of the boy.
I love him as a musician, but his politics now stinks. I empathize with many of the concerns he raises, but if he genuinely think Hillary is the answer to those concerns, he is sadly, sadly mistaken.
His main reason for supporting her: she’s married to Bill Clinton. And he’s a pro. The number-one politician in the world.
Hate to tell you, Merle, but your fans aren’t moving the same direction.
