As you may know, Fred Thompson has launched an official “testing the waters” committee to explore a run for President. He has my support, and I think if you look into him, he’ll have your support. Of the whole pack of Republican (make that conservative) candidates, Fred is the only one who stirs up any positive passion within me. He combines common sense, regular American values, and true conservative principles (both social and economic). And one very important aspect of Fred’s political outlook is that he has had it for a long while. That is to say, he is not a convert on the road to Des Moines. And I think one of the greatest characteristics of a Fred Thompson run is that we will once again have a true conservative spokesperson with the ability to speak clearly and forcefully for the things we believe in. In short, I’m with Fred.
